REFLECTIONS

THROUGH THIS PROJECT I LEARNED ABOUT THE PROBLEMS MOST TRADITIONAL SHOPHOUSES FACE. IT ISN'T EASY TO RETAIN THE ORIGINAL BUILDING DUE TO URBANISATION. BESIDES, MOST OF THE YOUNGER GENERATION FAIL TO APPRECIATE TRADITIONAL FACADES WHICH MAKES THIS ANOTHER CHALLENGE IN PRESERVING OLD SHOPHOUSES.
